I have been writing on a book, just published by No Starch Press on the topic of this course:
Introduction to System Programming in Linux, Stewart Weiss, ISBN-13: 978-1718503564
It is an introduction to system programming in Unix and Linux. The book is not yet published but will soon be available for Early Access. This program allows interested people to purchase the book before it is published and still in draft, and receive chapters as they become available. The course lectures are based on the book, not the older lecture notes. The older lecture notes have much outdated material.

The GitHub repository intro-linux-sys-prog is a mirror of the demo programs that can be found on the CSCI Departmental server for the class. It will be synchronized periodically with the repository on that server.
